Waking With You
I woke up next to you again, but this time, it was different. I woke up in our own bed, in our own room, in our own house. I woke up next to you and I couldn't help but smile at your soft snoring as I buried my face in your shirt, breathing in your aroma of car oil, cigarette smoke, and cologne. An aroma which I strangely crave.
I woke up next to you and it was like the rest of the world didn't exist. It felt like time had stopped for us. And I never wanted that moment to end.
I woke up next to you and smiled when I aaw your warm, brown eyes slowly open, and felt your strong arms wrap around me, pulling me closer unto your safe embrace as you softly grinned at me. That grin I love so much.
I woke up next to you this morning, and I can't wait to do it again. You're a sight I could never get tired of.
