"Have you prepared the solution doctor?"

"Almost there sir."
"Soon we will be unstoppable."

Andy hadn't slept well that night. His twin brother’s croaky voice arose him from his slumber.
"I saw it Andy." whispered John.
"Look John you are ten, and ten year olds aren't afraid of ghosts." replied Andy.
"No really, it was there and there is nothing wrong in believing in ghosts. Besides, I haven't seen any 10 year old other than you, who's afraid of thunder." retorted John in a not so whispery voice.
Though Andy tried not to show it, he too was afraid of ghosts. Downstairs he heard the ancient TV set crackle to life. Glancing at the clock he realized that today was his first day of summer camp.
Half an hour later, John and Andy were stationed in the back seat of the minivan opposite each other (their parents specified they must to so, lest they get into arguments) bickering on and on about whom they would meet and how interesting the leader’s stories would be. They knew the camp would be exciting. They had come all the way to Oregon, where the weather was scorching, just to attend this camp!  As the car veered into the camp’s parking lot Andy immediately noticed something odd that he couldn’t place. He knew this place yet he didn’t, as if someone inserted random memories of this place but deliberately left out pieces. From the look on John’s face, he too was feeling like Andy.
“Have the two arrived?”
“Yes sir.”
“Escort them in but don’t disclose anything.”
Andy walked up to the door and gave the rusty knocker a loud thump.  The door swung ajar and two formally dressed men came into view. Feeling just a hint of diffidence, Andy introduced himself.
Walking down the long hallway, where their footsteps echoed around the hall, Andy had a nagging doubt. Where were the other children who had also joined camp? Andy was about to ask the butlers but John, who seemed to read his mind, roughly pulled him back.
"I don't trust these men." whispered John.
"Then what should I do, wait till they send us to the dungeon where the other children could be?" replied Andy sarcasticly.
"Not exactly, let’s just play along and learn more." decided John.
Continuing down the long hallway they reached a flight of stairs. Taking a sharp right they continued down the hall. To their left loomed a massive set of doors. They looked very similar to the entrance doors but these seemed at least 100 years old and far rustier. Motioning to the left, one of the butlers said
"This is the mess hall, breakfast is from 8:00 to 9:30, lunch is from 12:00 to 1:30 and dinner is from 6:30 to 8:00."
As they turned around and returned to the stairs, the butlers said,
“Up the stairs and to your left are the dorms, you can leave your suitcases in the locker with your name on it”
As Andy returned down the stairs he found the butlers engrossed in a conversation, but when they heard his footsteps they immediately returned to their normal posture.
“The rest of the information will be on the board outside your dorms. For now you have free time. Most of the activities will be outside. If you need us ring the bell on this buzzer three times in a rapid succession.”
Saying so, the butler who had spoken motioned to his companion, who had taken out 2 buzzers and handed it to the boys, and the butlers marched into a door labeled “Restricted Access”.
“Have you two completed your job?”
“Yes sir.”
“Good, leave the rest to me and don’t get in the way.”
"I don't have a good feeling about this." whispered John.
"Me neither." came the reply.
"I think we should just explore outside, maybe try out a few games." thought John out loud.
They jogged outside and found all the lines for activities jam packed. All forms of diffidence were temporarily washed away as they shoved their way into the crowd. John and Andy joined the potion line where they eagerly awaited their turn. After an exciting day of activities the children headed to the mess hall for dinner. John and Andy chatted with Fred, one of the children in their dorm. Fred had been to camp last year and discovered some shocking news.
"The camp directors are evil. They have created a potion to take over the camp."
How do they make the entire potion?" Andy asked, thinking Fred was pulling his leg.
"They don't, we did, last year." replied Fred seriously.
Now the twins were starting to get spooked.
Fred ignored the twins and continued, “During potions the instructor gave us our first recipe. This is no ordinary recipe though, this one allowed the instructors to gain instant access to our movements and, essentially, control us when we consumed the potion. Two boys drank the potion and were never seen again. ”
Horrified, Andy turned back to his plate and found he had lost his appetite. Unable to eat he sighed and returned to his dorm to ponder over what he had heard.
The next morning, Andy found Fred and John already up and discussing something. Fred looked up and saw Andy awake. He motioned for Andy to come closer. Huddled together like a football team, Fred unveiled his plan to save the camp.
”Today is the last day of free time. We must act soon. Today we will secretly enter room 21 and-” Fred whispered.
“Why room 21?” interrupted Andy.
“It is the only room labeled with restricted access. So, we can safely assume it is the one where the controls to the potion are kept. We can destroy the control and voila, the directors can’t control us!” continued Fred.
“Fine, but when are we going to embark on this mission?” whispered John.
“Now” came the immediate reply.
“Why?” asked Andy.
“They won’t be expecting us.” replied Fred.
“Fine let’s go.” stated Andy.
Soon the trio was at the door of room 21. Fred tried turning the knob, but it was locked. He then pulled a set of keys from his bag and unlocked the door. A chill ran down Andy’s spine as they entered. He noticed a huge pot in the center of the room. Its contents were nowhere near appetizing; rather, they were brown and vomit green. On the right was a large computer, probably the controller. Suddenly, there was a deafening roar as the pot exploded. The potion splattered all over the room and 2 new children started moving towards Fred. Their skin was tinted purple and their eyes were bloodshot red.
“Run!” yelled John, and they ran all the way to the mess hall with their pursuers hot at their heels. The trio let themselves into the crowd. Their pursuers peeped into the crowded hall and left.
“Let’s try again before lunch, but this time we will be prepared for the children. We can set a bomb on the computer and run.” declared Fred.
Andy spent the next three hours prepping himself for the final mission. He gathered the bombs and stuffed them into Fred’s bag. He also studied the effects of all the potions and how to counter them. Exactly fifteen minutes before lunch, the trio was assembled again inside room 21. The pot exploded once again, but this time Andy knew what to do. He pulled out two rotten bananas and two eggs that reeked of his dad’s armpit. Andy threw the bananas in the evil children’s path. The children slipped and fell. Now all Andy had to do was to stuff the eggs into the two children’s mouth. As expected, the instant the egg reached their throat, the children returned to being normal. Meanwhile, Fred and John set the bombs in place and lit them. All five children ran outside as room 21 erupted into flames.
“The children know about us. They’ve destroyed the potion.”
“I knew the time would come to flee.”
”When should we meet again?”
“Never.”
“Bye.”

The next day two directors arrived and declared free play for the rest of the week. The government also gave Andy, John and Fred cash prizes and use of private limousines.
