When I was 18 months old, I was very clumsy. One day I was shaking a really heavy iron plant holder. It fell on my finger and blood went everywhere. We got in the car and my brother had my finger wrapped on a cloth holding it in the air hoping it would stop bleeding.
Throughout the years my finger started to grow sideways and was shorter than my other index finger. In 4th grade I had to miss the first Thursday and Friday because I was getting surgery. Before the nurse took me in the surgery room, she gave me the laughing gas. I closed my eyes and fell asleep, shortly after that I was on my way to the surgery room.
Once I woke up my eyelids felt like they weighed 100 pounds and I could barely see. The nurse asked me if I wanted my bed up or down, I was still waling up so I replied down. My recovery was very slow but it happened and it made me stronger.
