Julie doesn't know what high or low blood sugars feel like, and it scares her mother and father. They felt like they need to get a dog. Not any ordinary dog, but a Diabetic Alert Dog!
For many weeks Julie’s mom, Kristy, researched about these dogs and to see if it was possible to purchase one. After five weeks of constant research, she found a company. There’s just one major flaw, the dog costs $25,000! Kristy was astonished at the price! Then, she found out that she can pay it off in three years! Kristy was so ecstatic about hearing that! So ecstatic that she decided to get one right away! When she sent in the papers Kristy didn't know how long she would have to wait.
