“Do you know what this is for?” Julien asked in a sarcastic tone pointing towards his homework “Absolutely nothing.” He added. He had been complaining all afternoon about it. It wasn’t surprising since he does this every day, but it did get annoying from time to time. “Seriously, they force you to go to school and sit in a classroom for 7 hours and then they send you home to do more work.” He says the exact same thing every time, as if he were preparing for a big debate. My favorite part is how he says he doesn’t have time to do anything, but he definitely has time to complain for an hour before getting started. He was talking so much, I couldn’t do my homework. “You know, in Finland they don’t have homework.” He said as I stood up and headed towards the door. “Their rate of high school graduat- where are you going?” I stopped halfway out and peeked inside to look at him, “I’m going to the library.”

The library was far from our dorm, it really was. About halfway there I gave up and found a shaded bench to sit on. There weren't many people around since they were in class so it was nice and quiet out here. It was late afternoon so there was a bit of wind but it wasn't too strong, it was a nice breeze. As I was observing my surroundings I noticed a small figure running my way, as it got closer I noticed who it was, "oh no," I muttered as I hopped off the bench and began running in the opposite direction. This may look weird to bystanders, why would anyone run away from such a pretty girl but believe me when I say, she's crazy.
