A Day to Remember...
It all started in seventh grade. When Carrie, Betty, Lulu, and I were worst enemies. Apparently, they hated me for no reason. When they would see me they would madogg me like crazy. If their eyes were knifes, I would’ve been dead already. At times I would feel like crying but no, I held in my fear and did nothing.
So it continued like this for a couple of weeks until things escalated to physical abuse. I knew I should’ve talked to someone but because of so much fear I just couldn’t. Now what Carrie and Betty would do when they saw me was to get in the way that I was walking in and purposely bump shoulders with me. Including the shoulder bump would be terrible insulting names.
“Stupid B****!” Carrie mumbled as she would bump into me and continue her way. “Ouch!” I whined as I would continue to walk away like as if nothing had happened. This incident turned out to be a daily routine each and every day.
Then that one day that I’ll never forget came…
I was walking back to class because the lunch bell had rung and when I looked to my left I saw Lulu, Betty, Carrie, and a huge group of students walking towards me. “Stay calm and ignore” I warned myself. “Why the f*** you talking sh** about me b****?!” Lulu yelled as she approached me. “You’re stupid!” I replied rolling my eyes. “Who do you think you are to be rolling your eyes at me?!” Lulu shouted.
That’s where things got more intense. As I glanced to see her I realized she was taking off her backpack and fixing her ponytail. Right then and there I realized she was about to fight me.
“F*** her up!!!” the group of students demanded. “Yeah I’m gonna get this b**** right now!” Lulu agreed. She came up from behind and punched me in the side of my head repeatedly, threw me on the floor, and things went blank from there.
