Dear Diary
Monologue
Dear Diary,
Today David brought home a new friend. His name is Jack and he is a newsie. He has a lot of spunk and is quite a story teller. The only problem is that I don’t think it is a good person for David to be around. Jack is just very wild and well I don’t know he just has a certain feel about him. Maybe it is just me. He seems to have a good heart and some pretty good ideas. Now that I have gotten to think about Jack I can’t stop thinking about him. Maybe I say I don’t like him because I do, like him that is. I need to think some more, I am going to bed.
Sarah
“That is so weird that she thought that about Grandpa Jack, and then wound up marring him. I wonder when she finally decided that she liked him.” I thought as I put my grandma’s diary down after reading her first entrée about Grandpa Jack
