Step by step, into a never ending chore filled with terror. Each foot down is a battle with the pit of waterlogged sand stealing energy and the will to continue. One horrid, hole-filled rock with the ghastly prison entrapping hundreds of crabs forced to find out about survival of the fittest, by clashing it out to the death. Almost able to taste the crab from here with multiple claws and fallen foes at the bottom, yet the innocent takes another step unaware of what comes next. Each step crunching down on to the skulls of the previous victims that lay there from their great clash. Small white birds swarming above making a repetitive squall. Every once and a while diving down with the desire of getting just a small scrap of the crab to feed itself. The seagull zooms down with intent for a live one only to be stopped by the claw, making a loud thud.

Past this lays no man's land where the water and the sand have a terrifying relationship causing sight to become useless. Dust clouds with every step make it seem like nuclear warheads are at use. Then comes the dangerous part of which there are land mines that are so hidden only the sharp pain of being attacked will let one know. Every maneuver made produces a loud swoosh which is responded back by a wave, randomizing the traps to be found again.

Among these hazards, is the fish disguised as harmless stone, one somebody would take home to show grandma. This one lays with the others at the bottom of the murky shallows but is no ordinary rock and it waits for a victim to mistake its identity. Not even the seagull dare challenge it. When someone does, within a second a sharp pain floods the senses. First the arm, then the rest of the body becomes heavier than the earth itself. If ones lucky, they will fall back into the water and drown. Otherwise the hand feels as if it is slowly getting some firory thing screwed into it continuing for hours with no break. Time slows for each one of those minutes making it seem like an eon. No matter how fast one goes hope is gone because there is no antidote for this monster. If one survives this, the screams of fallen comrades, the less fortunate, still echo along the sharp waves until they die out in the never ending landscape of blue.

Covered in water by the constant waves forcing one back almost as a warning to the impending doom that lurks beneath the surface, yet still striving forward as if they belong. Then comes the downwards pull into hell that makes the holdings of the ground lost, allowing the water to flood over the body. Once a gripping comes back this torture returns tell land is so far that even with hawk eyes, one couldn’t find the shoreline and where they once came from. With each fall salty water rushes into the mouth slowly killing them by dehydration but this is not to worry because one will be dead long before then.

This hellish terrain filled to the brim with creatures of children’s nightmares. The water warns with a faint change in color and the dark blue hand coming up, sharp to the touch. Silky smooth touch grazes against a leg causing a false sense of safety. Quickly a snap, the ocean is forced up with vicious velocity! Beautiful blue turns into a horrid red as the sharp teeth of a shark sink into the once perfect appendage. Being forced down into the devil's land, seeing the beast, opening wide showing more teeth than that of Pennywise. The captured air flows upward in streams of bubbles due to the frantic movements made. Being underwater causes the ability to hear to become impossible. No screams can come to the rescue today, because you are alone. With each second the oxygen escapes, feeling the lungs collapsed and becoming flooded with water. The will to survive is strong and one doesn’t stop trying to force its way back to the spot it never should have left, the shoreline. However pain thrust through the body with every kick. The labyrinth of an ocean drains the spirit. Time ticks down as the once bright sky seems to darken tell it become nothing and the with the last gasp for air death reaps, tick, tick, tick.

This is the beach and ocean, a place where the horrors of many, live. Some state this is a glorious place but do not be deceived by the lies of these demons. The deep ocean blues filled with the smell of salt hind dangers everyone is yet to know. Don’t go to the ocean for the sake of life and family.
