The Door
Day zero.
My first day at sea is tomorrow. This will be AWESOME. I can’t wait to venture forth to the great sea and find treasure. The Bisen bros the best sailors of all time.
Day one.
I have noticed that I get very bad motion sickness when on a shaky boat. Other than my motion sickness, Max and I haven't really done much. We’ve started a fish trap. We made a net on 2 sides of the boat, and every once in a while, we pull in some fish, and that’s fun. I noticed that there isn’t much to do on the boat. Maybe I’ll feel different in the morning.
Day two.
I found a bunch of board games. When I asked Max about it, he said, ”I couldn't help but bring something from when we were kids. Plus I knew we would get bored.”
We decided to play a few games, like Monopoly and Life, but after that we didn’t know what to do. Guess we just didn’t plan well enough.
Day three.
Have you ever noticed how everything changes slightly day by day? Well I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a trap door near the captains quarters yesterday. I am not a very courageous person, so I showed it to Max.
That’s weird,” he said, and walked off like it was nothing.
Something strange is going on, but I can’t put my finger on it.
Day four.
The trap door I’ve been telling you about, it got bigger. I am very concerned about this trap door problem. Max went into the door 20 minutes ago and has not contacted me or said anything since. I might have to go in.
Day five.
I have a flashlight, a book, a pen and pancakes in baggies. I’m going in. When I opened the door, it looked like death pouring out of the depths of hell.
Day six.
The terrain looks alive. It never stops moving. There are red bumps everywhere and monster looking beasts that look like they’ll gobble up little things like me. There are very weird forever bending trees of many forms.
Day seven.
I will attempt to stab the living ground to see if there is a reaction. When I did the experiment the flour smoothed out and the beasts panicked and all ran into hiding. I will stop writing in this journal dew to the fact that it will not help me in the long run. So to whoever finds this than good for you. Welcome to the jungle.
