BBC Sherlock Parody
Sherlock walked into the room. “What are you doing, John?” he cried. John was sitting on the floor with a panting German Shepherd in front of him, waving a treat in it’s face and shouting, “Roll over! Roll over!”
The dog didn’t look the least bit interested. Instead, it turned away and stared at Sherlock. “I’m trying to train Jane’s dog. It’s had three treats already but won’t listen to me.” he muttered, irritably. Sherlock frowned, “Jane? Is she another one?”
“If you mean another girlfriend, then yes – and this time it’s serious. We’ve talked about an engagement.”
Sherlock looked sympathetic, “John, where did you get those dog treats?”
The detective’s friend looked suspicious. “In the cupboard, why?”
Sherlock’s face turned into an unreadable expression, as he answered, “I may be a detective and not a psychic, John, and love really isn’t my field...but I can tell you that your engagement plan won’t work out.” he took a deep breath, before adding quietly, “You shouldn’t meddle with my experiments.”
John looked up sharply, his face filled with horror. “What did you put in them, Sherlock?! Tell me!”
A bright smile crossed Sherlock’s face. “Something I picked up from Stapleton last week. Let’s just say Jane won’t be needing a night light for the next few years.”
