"What the flute" -Johnny Suh

Flashes struck like lightning causing a head-splitting pain. She bent down, hands over her head, squeezing tightly in hopes of reducing the pain by even just a little bit. More memories came back as she screamed and writhed on the ground. Being pushed up against the wall, wallet and keys being snatched from her, men’s sick, hungry eyes invading and raking over her every insecurity and her every confidence. She was now sobbing on the ground in pain. A man walked up, punched the one who had her up against the wall, and then took out a sleek, black revolver, causing all the other men to run. The girl dropped down to her knees, weak and in shock. But the man was there to catch her, as he carried her to his car, she noticed his tattoos that were covering his arms and the portions of his chest that she could see. Earrings dangling causing a glint in the misty moonlight. That was when she noticed the stamp on his forearm, the one she had been told legends about and didn’t even think to be real. The sign of the famed mafia, Astro. They were known to beat other gangs and mafia supporters to death, and she was being carried gently by who she assumed to be a leader of some sort. The memories stopped suddenly and all she could do was sob in pain and wish that those memories would get lost in the fog. Then the mafia leader who carried her out of danger ran in the room shirtless to cradle her in his arms and whisper “You’re ok now, I’ve got you, nothing will ever happen to you again”.

This was written in my creative writing class at school, and I took inspiration from the fanfics I have read in the past.
