The Epic Journey

As I was in the middle of the battle, laid down in the trench, I got out my diary and started writing to take my mind off of the chaos going on around me because I couldn’t handle it anymore. It begins like this, David is someone who gets made fun of all the time because of the way looks, and for not having a dad. He's a very skinny guy, he's 5’ 10”, wears thick glasses, he's super smart and gets straight A’s in his classes in school. His dad was (KIA) killed in action. The only reason he wants to join the military is to follow in his dad’s footsteps and make him proud. Now, his military journey begins.

In the summer of 1999, he went to boot camp. He got there and was really scared. He got off the bus and started to get yelled at. The next day they woke up at 0400 hours to start the training. They started running for an hour. They ran in foggy and misty weather and ran in a forest. David made it through the finish line, but he was the last one. Later that day they did more tests and did not pass them. He was sent home and he was mad at himself.

Throughout the year, he did what he thought he needed to do to prepare for boot camp. In the summer of 2000, he went to boot camp again. He arrived there again and was not scared of them yelling at him. The next day, in the morning, he was up before 0400 hours and dressed. They started running in the hot, steaming sun. He did better and finished before half of the people. Then they did the other test and did not pass them again. He was sent home.

One night David’s dad came to him in his dreams. His dad helps him out. He gives David some advice and some techniques for the camp. David wakes up the next morning and starts working out, then after lunch, and after dinner. He did that every day, all year long. In the summer of 2001, he went to boot camp. He got there and did his first day and then went to sleep. David woke up before 0400 hours and was ready. He did the run test and came in first and set a new record. Then later that day he did the other test and set a new record. He finally achieved his dream and got into the army.

David starts his career in the military. David was going through boot camp roughly, it was through trial and error that he made it through the camp and graduated. He went into the military to honor his dad. David’s dad was KOA and was rewarded with the purple heart. The purple heart was the highest medal you can get rewarded. David and his dad had a really strong bond with each other. He looked up to his dad as a role model.

David comes from Texas and has that southern gentleman approach when he talks. His mother is a doctor, so he knows a little bit about patching up wounds and cuts. He has a younger brother that he wants to be a good role model for. David is the closest thing that his brother has got to a father. He comes from a loving family. He is strong, tall, good looking, and intelligent. He has a small circle of friends. His friends are either from the military or high school. He is both social and reclusive, he will talk a little bit but keeps to himself too. He talks to his family a lot.

David was recommended to do a mission because he was very skilled in different areas. He was called to his Sergeant’s office to talk about the mission. They talked, and David said he needed to have a partner to do this mission. David and his sergeant go to recruit someone for the mission. They decided on Jordan Longmire, which is a girl. She comes from a loving family just like David. She joined the military to help people just like her grandmother. She is kind of similar to David. They get together to go over the plan for the mission. Some military bases have been hit by Jared as the boss of the attacks. Jordan meets David for the first time. (Wow, he is really hot) David and Jordan had been working to get ready to attack Jared’s base of operation.

They get their stuff and what they need like weapons. David asks, “Are you ready.” When Jordan was finishing packing her stuff she said, “Just about done.” They have mics on to keep in contact with each other. They put their stuff into the plane, which they're going to jump out of. Jordan (signs) says, “I’m a little scared.”David said not to be afraid of jumping out of the plane. They go over the plan just before they leave the base they’re at. They get on the plane and take off. The pilot said they were at the drop off point and to jump.

Then, they land at the base and scout it for a few hours. David said, “take the east side.”

Jardon says, “should I use a silencer.” Next, they go into the base quietly without being detected. Jordan gets caught and she blacks out and is brought to Jared. Jared threatens Jordan’s life if David doesn’t turn himself in to save Jordan. David said angrily, “I saw if you hurt her I will beat you to a pulp.”  After that, he turns himself in but he kills a lot of people along the way. David and Jared get into a fight, a brutal one, and it lasts for a while. In the end, David wins with a bloody face and knuckles and turns in Jared to his supervisor. David saves Jordan, unties her, and gets her to get medical help. He is rewarded and accepts it but gives recognition to Jordan that she deserves.

One day, Secret Service Agent Meyers was on duty to protect the president. President Stanley had an official meeting that took all day. By the time it was over, it was down pouring, and the president had an event to go to after the meeting. President Stanley reached the event a little late, but everybody at the event was happy to see him. The event ended and everybody was heading home, so the president’s wife and he were in a car,  and their son was in another one with Agent Meyers because their son was very fond of Agent Meyers, and would break protocol. The weather was terrible, it was down pouring to the point of not being able to see the road.

The road was very, very slippery. They were on a bridge and the president’s car slid and hit the side of the wall. The car was hanging off the bridge. Agent Meyers saw that and stopped his car and told the son to stay in the car. Agent Meyers runs to the car and is trying to save the president. The president said to save his wife before him. Meyers asked another agent to save his wife. The agents were talking over the top of the roof and the agent said he couldn’t get her. The car was sliding down the side of the bridge and Meyers got the president out of the car before it fell.

A few days later, Meyers returns to his desk job because he got demoted. He does a lot of paperwork. He looks at the White House all the time. Some weird stuff starts happening with the White House. The electronics were being frozen, and the ground was shaking a little bit. Garbage trucks parked in front of the White House. The lights were flickering too. A jet went over the white house. Explosions were happening, and bullets were flying everywhere. The White House was being taken over and the world was in danger.

Agent Meyers saw that and headed to the White House, and was only across the street. More small explosions were happening when he was getting to the White House. Then, he got into the White House and started shooting back at the other people. He was helping get the people to safety. A lot of people got shot while running outside of the White House, and Meyers was getting people back into the White House. While that was happening the president was kidnapped inside the White House.

The kidnappers were trying to get nuclear missile codes. They got a few but needed more. Agent Meyers is going through the building looking for the president and beating up the kidnappers along the way, so he doesn’t get caught and doesn't have to deal with them. Then, Meyers finds the president’s son and gets him out of the White House. The kidnappers hear the commotion outside of the room that they’re in. They go out of the room and it’s Agent Meyers. Agent Meyers fights the boss kidnapper and wins. Then, Meyers gets the President outside and to the ambulance. A few days later agent Meyers is reinstated as the head of the secret service. Then everything goes back to normal.
