Short story
HI my name is luke.
Im a dog. But not just any dog, I'm the best dog ever. Let me just start of with a little bit about myself . I have blond hair blue eyes and am 40 pounds. I have a wonderful sister named Lacy.
She is great. I also have an owner named Owner. I would love to call him by another name but we call him owner because we don't know his real name.
We have lived at this house for 14 years or as the humans say 2. I don't understand why they say 2 because I feel like it's been forever.
My life is amazing ! except the CAT, and the car, and the bird, and the mailman. But that's not the point. The CAT is.
Lacy and I where playing in the yard. I'm running, and running and then SMACK!!!!!!
I run right into the cat. In my defence the cat is supposed to be inside anyways. But that is when it started. From then on. She, or he we don't even know, has always hated me and i hated her or him right back.
It was the day of the big New York show that Lacy and I are in. Our Owner told us to get ready.
We have to do so much before we are ready for the show. We have to brush out own hair, we have to clean our nails and we have to feed ourselves. This is why I said I'm the best dog because i can do all of this for myself, but my reputation of the best is all about to change.
I was in the midst of making some delicious home cooked dog pebbles and biscuits when I heard a very unusual sound. A sound like a plane crashing right into our house. Actually it was louder than that. I went to go investigate and then I saw the CAT. She or he was standing there acting like nothing ever happens. Soon lacy came in to see what had happened.
I was super mad because the cat has done stuff like that before and blamed it on us but never on this scale. The whole entire coffee table which is glass was shattered. I don't even know how the cat could pull this off all I know is I want the cat to be put away for it, or put in timeout.
Lacy told me that we should just clean up the mess and act like it never happend but I didn't want to do that. I wanted revenge for all the times we got in trubbel for the dumb stuff the cat did. You see lacy is nice and doesn't want to cause trouble. I was the opposite, I hated that cat and I wanted to do whatever I could to get rid of it. So I devised a plan, I would sneak into the cat's room and tear up everything. This will work, I know it will, because Owner knows the dogs don't go in there so he can't suspect it was me. I started by ripping through the cat's favorite toy. It was an ugly mouse it needed to be ripped up anyways. Then I moved on to the terrible cat bed. I don't even understand why the cat has this because the cat never sleeps, I will get up in the middle of the night and it will be up. But I was just about to rip the center portion when Owner walked in.
He didn't even have to say anything. I knew what I had done was wrong and I was feeling the after effects of it. First off I had completely missed the opportunity to go to the New York dog show. I had been looking forward to it all year and now it had slipped away. Second and most important, everyone was disappointed with me. Lucy and Owner gave me a humiliating look while the cat was in distress. The cat's everything was destroyed and it as all my fault. This was the perfect way for the dog and cat feud to continue, and it did. I should have just talked to the cat. Lets just say I spent the next few nights or months in the DOG HOUSE!!!!!!
