My name

My name looks like a night sky on a clear lonely beach with the waves hitting up against the shore.  The inconsistent sound of waves and the wings of whatever few birds are still awake.  The sand and shells are only visible thanks to a bright moon and the stars surrounding it.  The sight of a turtle crawling her way through the soft but cool sand to lay her eggs.  The wind blowing through your hair and the smell of the ocean filling your nose.

Carson is a name that originated from Scotland.  Scotland is a country that embodies perseverance, and that is why my Scottish name reflects that. Perseverance is one of the first qualities that comes to mind when I think of my name.

From such a young age, my parents have always told me that having a good name is one of the most important things in life. I always wondered what that meant until one day when my name was brought up and everyone thought that it meant trouble.

I realized that day what my parents were trying to say.  To keep a good name is to keep a good reputation and ever since that day I have lived by trying to keep the cleanest name ever.

My name defines me, a person who has an iron will and will do whatever it takes to accomplish what it is that I want to do.  At the same time it is also very calm and relaxing.  I typically only ever feel calm and its one of the things about me that people notice over time. Its two opposites that work together in harmony, and that is what makes it truly invincible.

Everything happens for a reason, and when you think about it, it's actually quite amazing.  I don't exactly know why my parents decided to name me Carson, but then again, there are many things in this universe that we don't know the answer to.
