The Cow and the Wasp
Once upon a time, a cow invited a wasp to a party. The cow told the wasp to wear a ridiculous getup because all of the other guests, including the cow, would be wearing outlandish oufits as well. The wasp thought it sounded fun, and agreed.
However, when the wasp showed up to the party, the only animals present were the cow and her boyfriend. Neither were in strange garments like the wasp; nevertheless, the wasp brushed it off and tried to have fun. That is, until the cow told the wasp to leave because it was "getting boring with her around", and proceeded to kiss her boyfriend. The wasp realized the cow had invited her for the sole purpose of humiliating her, and was tempted to sting the cow.
While the wasp could have stung the cow, but she was feeling merciful. She left the party with fire in her veins, vowing to strike back at a later time. This is why wasps are belligerent.
