The Forest
In the forest during the dead of night, a vicious howl escapes a creatures maw scraping the sky. The white moon moves unpredictably and bright against the black void. Whispers echo like a puff of smoke, spiraling around in the dark infecting the ears of the unlucky. Trees whistle in the wind and stars whoosh across the sky like pinpoints of bright yellow. Loneliness meets my screams of silence and conceals me inside its chilled arms. Before I go under its spell, a small glimpse of silver's edge, the feeling of hope and redemption. As the sun waits, a vibrant glowing orange, at the top of tomorrow, while night descends down the steps into the basement. The agent of darkness hiding in the depths of my mind.
