Two angry parents
They are the only ones who are always yelling. They are the only ones who don’t understand. Two angry parents with fat necks and sharp tempers like mine. Two who should not be here but are. Two jagged people put into my life. From my room, I can hear them, but they don’t care it doesn’t bother them.
Their yelling is a secret. They yell ferocious things to each other. They stand up and they sit down and they always yell and never quit their anger. This is how they are.
Why am I here, all they do is yell, with their noses almost touching just yelling. Yell, yell, yell all they do when I sleep. They yell.
When I am too sad or too mad to keep listening, when I am held up against the wall, saying it’s my fault. When there is nothing left for me here. Two who grew to hate me. Two who fight and do not forget to yell. Two whose reason is to hate and yell.
