Does The Five Second Rule Really Work?
Does The Five Second Rule Really Work?
For It
The five second rule does work. After all, not all bacteria are bad. Some Bacterias can improve a persons lifestyle, and health. The person would also get less allergies later in life. If the person throws away the food that has fallen on the floor, the person who dropped the food will be wasting food and would also be wasting money. Some kids even eat mud if they are starving so why not eat food that has fallen down. So what if we get sick, we will not die. So, I do think that the five second rule works
Against it
The five second rule does not work. It takes less than 5 seconds for 150 to 8000 bacteria to hop on on dropped food. You would consume about 3000 bacteria. Once a person consumes the bacteria, they can wreak a havoc in your body and make you ill. The smallest bacteria you need to make you ill is as low as 10 bacteria. Lots of very unlucky people in america get sick from foodborne illness. It is better to eat new food then dropped food. So, I do think that the five second rule works.
