"Laugh when everything goes wrong, Love when you have nothing left, Live for all that's worth."

"No! W-why...? Why did she... Why did she have to..." a woman sobbed over her murdered daughter, the tears drenching the handkerchief held to her face. Her daughter's body lay motionless on the bed she was sleeping on her cold dead eyes stared at the IPod that was playing 'Welcome to the Show' by Britt Nicole. The cop put a hand on the woman's shoulder a look of sympathy was stretched on his face. The girl's body was a gruesome scene her neck was slit and her stomach and chest were cut open revealing all of her organs. Blood soaked the bed, it was a surprise that the IPod was still playing though that may be the only witness to this gruesome crime. The blind woman sobbed harder tears running down her already red cheeks, "O-Officer.. Did... Did she die badly?" the woman asked. Being blind she was unable to tell, her Husband also being down in the basement doing who know's what. The Officer swallowed hard as he took a look at the sight that made even him want to puke.

"No..." He managed to say calmly despite what he felt. "She did not Ms. Lavence." Miss Lavence nodded shaking, the Officer helped her up and pulled her away from the scene. Despite the woman being blind she did have a sense of smell and it would make her sick. It was a surprise that she didn't throw up while being so close to the decaying body.

From downstairs the woman's husband could hear his wife's sobs as he started to pull out Bibles in search for a book. Tears filled his eyes in anger and sadness. Alpha, his only daughter was murdered that day, or someday. They were out during the week on vacation. The only memory they had of her was her smiling brightly smiling at them and reassuring them that she will be all right before making a smart ass joke about thinking of burning the house down. This made the parents become worried, they knew she would if she wanted to but this was her home and they bought her enough electronics for her to not burn it down. A tear ran down the man’s face as he clutched a bible in his hand, his sorrow and anger welling in his chest.

"I'm going to bring her back.." he whispered flipping through the pages, "whether it's a replacement, a monster or still her. I will not let my daughter be taken to the other side! Even if I sacrifice my life.. Even if I did... as long as she's happy I'll..." The man took a deep breath moving to the next page. Tears rolling down his cheeks his eyes widened slightly at the information on the page.

Resurrection Ritual Ingredients

107 Lives
3 Red Candles
Pint of blood of a loved one
A host body
Pentagram.

"I have.. Kill 107 people?" he whispered taking a shaky breath he stood up and nodded slightly, "I'll do it. Anything to bring my daughter back." His eyes raised to the door to the first floor. "Anything..."

March 16

Mr. Lavence staggered into the house, his eyes dull and lifeless as blood coated his shirt and pants his eyes turning to his wife sitting waiting for dinner to be ready. It was hard for the older man, to take care of his blind wife but he loved her regardless. Playing with his knife on the table he started to undress. His eyes glanced to the side as he thought for a moment about what to do next the next victim he must have. He had killed twenty seven people and it was a miracle he was not caught yet. He didn't want to do this but it was the only way. Alpha's smile was burned in his mind slowly being replaced by her lifeless eyes, the blood soaked bed and her organs sprawled across the room and the words on the wall saying 'Don't listen to the melody, you may never wake up from it."

He was fully aware who killed her exactly; The Melody Killer, a person who would kill anyone that has music playing at night. Hating music due to it bringing up bad memories she would kill anyone who had it playing at night, the Melody Killer even killed the entire party of teenagers at night leaving many parents devastated. Due to this the small town, music was forbidden in fear that someone would be killed next, but now he was a killer. Unlike Melody he didn't kill for no reason. He did it for a cause, some may say he's insane but he didn't think he was. With a sigh he washed his clothes in the washer watching the clothes spin and the water turn slightly red. His eyes closed as he rested his head against the cold surface of the washer. "What have I become?" he mumbled his eyes closing falling asleep with the sound of the water spinning and spinning.

July 1

"Update on the news report there seems to be a new serial killer on the loose who has been deemed as 'Blade'. He has killed about 73 people and has not been caught yet. If anyone has any information please inform the police immediately-" Mr. and Ms. Lavence ignored the T.V but Mr. Lavence’s wife seemed a bit uneasy. Her eyes moving around the room despite not being able to see, she knew what she was looking at by her other senses. He didn't know what to do. His wife was getting closer and closer to knowing his secret, would she be angry? Sad? Shocked? Disgusted? Or happy that he was trying to do something nice for her? Running a hand through his black hair that was slightly fading with age his eyes opening and closing as he thought. "What should I do?" he wondered curling up into a ball his eyes watching the T.V barely listening. "So it seems that Melody has yet made another killing possibly thinking of 'Blade' as a new threat-" Turning his gaze from the T.V his eyes moved to the window seeing Alpha's friends place flowers outside their house then taking their flowers and going to her grave. It was like a ritual, they did this everyday.

"I wonder how they would react if they knew I was going to bring their best friend back?" Lavence mumbled rubbing his temples. He sighed before going into a slightly large closet, closed the door and prepared his blades for his next victim. Hopefully this would all be over soon.

August 22

Stabbing the knife in the girl’s shoulder Mr. Lavence couldn't help but flinch at her piercing scream through the duct tape. He ran the blade delicately down her shoulder breaking skin on her arm making it bleed excessively. "I'm sorry.. but I must bring her back.." he whispered touching the blood now that blood flowed through the arm as the girl’s whines and tears came out her eyes begging to not to be killed," but I can't kill you yet, you will be a vessel then she will come back.. Yes.." he mumbled licking the blood off the blade and placing it in his pocket a smirk across his face. She will be back...

September 17

".. Alpha?" Mr. Lavence whispered as he saw the girl open her eyes her eyes gazing at him curiously the pain in her arm and stomach unbearable. Her mouth opened but nothing came out. She felt strange, burning and wasn't she dead? Alpha remembered being dead the feeling of the claws running down her skin the music playing in the background as a woman’s voice whispered in her ear. She also remembered all their deaths the ones that had to be sacrificed. She could feel their pain, hear their screams, feel their sorrow and felt loneliness. Her eyes traveled to the man who now held her in his arms. "Finally, finally my sweet sweet Alpha.." he mumbled kissing her forehead as she blinked at him rage filling her body as well as fear.

"I didn't want to come back.." she mumbled grasping the bottom of her shirt as her father looked down at her confused. "I don't want to die again, it was painful.. I don't want to go back. I don't want to!" she shouted staring at her father who let her go as an insane grin spread across her face. "Daddy.. Why did you bring me back? Don't you love me? Do you want me to feel pain? Did you want others to feel pain?"

"No, Alpha dear I had to-"

"It was all for mama right? How would you feel if I told you she was dead? You were so concerned over me that you didn't realize she was already dead." The man froze at his daughter's words before he shook his head.

"No, it's not possible.."

"Yes it is daddy and did you know that Melody Killer is dead? He died right when I was born now it's time to repay the favor.." Grabbing the knife in her hand she smiled sweetly at the man before her. "Unlike the Melody Killer I love music.. It's the last thing I heard before I died so tell me this..." She raised the knife a sense of loneliness in her eyes as voices whispered in her mind, all the people that her father killed. “Did you really love me?” A hum in her voice as she sang softly.

“Of course! But…”

“No buts,” Alpha purred sickeningly a smirk on her face as she hummed happily.

"Don't listen to the melody...~ It may be the last thing you hear.~"
