Sky of Drowning Potential
From this angle the night sky looks more like a puddle. It does not seem as though it could last forever. It is not suffocatingly sinking, not even close to a plush duvet of drowning potential.
It is shallow, weak; a quilt of overused threads and wilting fabric. If I dive into it I will become a simple shimmering of a star, a reflection of the sun. I will not become part of the densely deep sky; I will stand out.
