Alone
No one is here anymore; they have all left me of their own will and of God's will. At least that’s what my parents and friends have told me. The rain is the only one that keeps me company, its constant dripping slightly comforting while my tears mix in with the rain drops. My heart aches with every time I think of the person who left me last. The constant thought of I was the one who should have left did not go away. Then as if my thoughts had made him appear, he was there, whole, smiling, unscratched, so unlike the last time I ever saw him. The one who had left me, the one who took my heart with him was finally here. Finally, the rain stopped, and I was no longer alone.
