An Alphabet Story Entitled ADD

ADD. Before I even knew what it was, I knew it was mine. Covering me like a warm blanket, it was my backup, the Robin to my Batman. Driving down streets in my Batmobile, I’m speeding towards Gotham Highrise. Everything around me blurs by as I dart through the dark streets, brimming with crime. Finally, I reach Gotham Highrise with its looming turrets of black metal, glass, and concrete. Getting out of the Batmobile I scan my surroundings and check to make sure my Batcape is in place. Holding tight to my Batgun, I steadily approach the massive black doors. It has just started to rain when out of nowhere appears a big, evil- STOP! “Just try to focus on the story,” I tell myself.
Keeping my mind focused is something I constantly struggle with. Lane changes occur often and frequently on the highway of my mind, whereas everyone else seems to have taken a one-lane road. My plan was to ask Sarah Johnson to the prom by fourth period today. Naturally, I got myself landed in ISS by second for forgetting to turn off the volume on my cell phone. Owen, that idiot, had sent me a test-message reading “Ask her before Wilson can!” Pug-nosed Wilson will probably beat me to her now, forcing me to ask dull Jane Waters. Quietly condemning high school as the most unfair of all places, I try to think up a plan of action. “Running out of here is always an option,” I think to myself. Stealing a glance at the brawny supervisor Ms. Wallingford, I veto that idea.
Unable to do anything but wait, I spring from my seat when the lunch bell rings. Violently pushing through the halls, I finally arrive in the cafeteria, only to find out that Sarah is in the library. “Wilson better not be there,” I thought as I pushed through the library doors. Xerox machines humming, I spotted Sarah among the rows of books. “You don’t have a prom date yet do you?” I choked out. “Zach,” she said, “I thought you’d never ask.”

This story is so great! Clair, you did an awesome job of making this story flow. It can definately stand on its own, regardless of the fact that you wrote it as an alphabet story! GREAT JOB
