ode to squawkers mcaw
One time I met a parrot named squawkers mcaw and he was from Key West Florida. He was so silly that when he heard the word “key lime pie,” he would start to move out between the bars of his cage. Lastly, he would steal the key lime pie and say, “Ay, that was super delicious!”
But on one tragic January 18th afternoon, he was shot. To remember him, I purchased a fur-real friend whose name was squawkers mcaw. But I will never forget my real parrot; squawkers mcaw.
