Nothing You Could Do

There's nothing you could have said or done to stop what had come

It happened so fast you barely noticed it happened so fast you had no time to react

So all you could do was stand there shocked and confused with that look on your face wondering what about your past you could have erased to fix it

You begin to blame yourself and that's where the downward spiral starts

You don't realize that neither the tear rolling down you cheek or the silent screams you let out are going to help it’s as if you’re a mime trapped in a box with nowhere to escape you search for people to numb the pain only for them to make it worse… there's nothing you could have done to stop your heart tearing apart bit by bit and getting colder and colder by the minute because each time you trust it breaks each time you make a new bond its lost its you it’s all your fault..

You lie awake at night staring into the ceiling with a deep blue mind you seem to have forgotten how to feel your now numb to everything your heart has frozen over you sit there cold lifeless and numb with the same question buzzing in your head like a swarm of bees reminding you of what you did wrong and why everyone hates you

I love this.
It's great and beautiful and sad and feels so real.
