Virulent (Excerpt of TLWH Ch.3)
With a demeanor of a snake I would watch the way she would slither her way through bars and through narrow street ways drunk on Thursday’s. Christine’s cycle wouldn’t stop. It was the drunken nights that wronged her. She would spit furious flames whenever Luke the baseball captain at our school ignored her. She wanted the poetic side of me but you can’t give that piece to someone or you are left with nothing. The letters started lingering all around reminding me of the rude remarks she throws. Right now my eyes see that she looks so breathtakingly beautiful in that ocean blue dress of hers. Even though invitingly she threw this party or should I say a frenzy to make out with Luke. Kicking out everyone else she slammed the door shut at me that my heart got stuck, the pieces of the wooden door closed in on my flesh. A very large amount of tears slid down below my cheeks and with that I wrote, “goodbye.” The next day I passed when my mother seeked my help because I couldn’t go. I had to move on from the nest she placed me in and that’s the thing when Virulent (Excerpt of TLWH Ch.3)

I had to move on from the nest she placed me in and that’s the thing whenshe inflicted the venomous drop into my path I slipped and cracked. Now I remember but sometimes I forget but that is not the girl for me. The universe is throwing diversions and periods of soul searching. To some extent I am being metaphorical to make points. Christine doesn’t glance at me in the hallways any more. Burning bridges isn’t a bad idea because no longer volunteering prevented me from going back to a place where there were several mistakes.
