John Green is an American author who writes young adult fiction, and he is a YouTube blogger.  Paper Towns is one of six books he has written. It was published by Penguin group in New York of 2009. John Green is also well known for writing The Fault in our Stars, and he is the #1 New York Times bestselling Author.
    In Paper Towns John Green tells a story about a boy named Quentin Jacobsen,  also referred  by “Q”.  He is an ordinary guy in an ordinary high school whose boring life takes a turn when his all time crush Margo Roth Spiegelman climbs into his bedroom and invites him to join her on an adventure. They spent the whole night together unleashing revenge on Margo's ex boyfriend, but when Q wakes up the next morning after their adventure, he finds out that Margo has disappeared. She leaves clues behind for Q to follow and later he finds out they lead to a dead end. Quentin and his friends go on an a road trip, skipping their graduation to look for Margo. He refuses to give up on the idea of finding her.
    Paper Towns is written in Q perspective; he shows his emotions towards Margo Roth Spiegelman and undertakes his fears when he goes on the ultimate adventure with his friends to find her. I really enjoyed reading Paper Towns, it captivates the drama, adventure and mystery all in one. I recommend this book for girls around 13-20. This book is split up into three sections: The String being the first part, The Grass, and finally The Vessel. In the first part Margo and Quentin go on their adventure,  In The Grass Quentin follows Margo’s clues after her disappearance,  in The Vessel Quentin and his friends take of  to their amazing road trip in search of Margo. The plot of the book is very clear and easy to follow, and staying mostly in the present.
    Reading Paper Towns really gave me a different perspective about people's life. Quintin tried to become Margo and noticed how her life really was and not how he imagined. Throughout his life Quinten saw Margo as the perfect person with the perfect life. John Green talks about how you do not really know someone until you try and become them.”It is easy to forget how full the world is of people, full to bursting, and each of them imaginable and consistently misimagined” seid John Green. This was an easy book to read, it was a  300 plus page count. The clues were fun to follow and sometimes you were able to picture the place that  clues lead you. I really recommend Paper Towns if you are looking forward in finding an adventure, also if  you have read The fault in our Stars,  and enjoyed it this might be a book for you .
