My uniform
In a daze I lifted my eyes from dirt and looked around, marveling at my achievment. I had been so focused on my goal, that I had failed to realize what I could truly do once it had been done. But now, I knew. It had been a long, hard struggle for me. Year after year I was forced to my hands and knees, locked away with every defeat. Today was the day that the plan finally worked, my greatest enemies lay in the earth fading and decaying, no longer the protectors of justice they once were. Without them, I was truly free. In time the rest of the world will fall before my might, and then I would do just as I had done here. I will paint the ground below their feet the bloodred of my cloak, the black of my armor will spread across the world like a great smog, and the red and yellow of my insignia will brand this world in my name as the fires spread. The world will march to the sound of MY beat, bearing MY uniform, for the eternal and unstoppable empire of ME!
