Amusement park

Three girls, all between the ages of Nine and Fifteen were on their way to one of the best amusement parks in the Midwest with their grandparents. The aroma of sunscreen filled the car, as they readied themselves for one of the best days of their lives. It was a one hour drive, but to the young and anxious girls it seemed to be five hours. They sang and danced the entire way there, hoping for the ride to go a little bit faster. nothing seemed to work.
After countless of “ Are we there yet?”s, they finally reached their destination. The window was open, and all they could hear was the roar of the rollercoasters. The car came to a stop, the doors flung open with a bang and out came three screaming girls.

“Come on. Let’s go. Could you take it any slower?” exclaimed Kayla, the youngest of the three.

“Wait a second, sweetie, I have to grab the bag,” spoke their generous grandma softly.

“Yeah, Kayla, what are you thinking? Gosh, just wait,” snickered Katie.

“Okay, girls. We are ready. Let’s go!” cheered grandma.

The entire family, all three girls and both grandparents, were set on their way to have the best day of their lives.

Kids were screaming, parents were yelling their names and the popcorn man with the constant “Popcorn, Popcorn, Who wants popcorn?” was all a person could hear walking up to the gates of the “Famous Six Flags Of St.Louis.” Katie, Kayla, and Sarah could not have been more ecstatic for the moment they stepped right through those gates.

“Wait, girls, you sit right here with grandpa. I have to go buy our tickets!” exclaimed grandma.

“Okay!” yelled the girls in sync.
Finally the time had come. The girls got their tickets and stood in line to give the ticket clerk their tickets. Next thing they knew, the gate to Six Flags flung open and everyone rushed in. First stop: the Batman. Grandma and Grandpa just sat back and watched the girls have the time of their lives. They ran up to the Batman to see a line that was a lot shorter than normal. It only took about ten minutes. The girls hopped on the ride with joy. “Click, click, click. you are now ready for take off.” The ride took a thrilling 45 seconds. The girls hopped off and were ready for the next ride.
Except for Katie. She stood up and began to feel very dizzy, faint, and nauseous. Sarah grabbed ahold of her arm and walked her over to Grandma and Grandpa. Katie sat down for a little bit, hoping she would begin to feel better; however, that was not the case. As she sat there she began to feel worse. So she told the other girls to go have fun and ride some rides without her.
About an hour went by and the girls had ridden about three rides and Katie was still just sitting down, watching all the fun happens. She finally got to feeling better, so she rode some more rides. She rode the Screaming Eagle for the first time ever and ended up loving it. Towards the end of the trip she couldn't have imagined anything better. She rode numerous of rides, got cotton candy, made some new friends, and got to spend the entire day with the people she loved the most. The family finally left the park utterly exhausted, and a little sunburnt. The car ride home was a little different than on the way there. The car was silent, except for the snores of the three worn out, tired, and satisfied young girls.
