A Trip to Mars
Last night I dreamt I took a trip around Mars in a pretty, periwinkle rocket while listening to the wide lyrics of Alexander Hamilton. Maybe it was the Dr. Pepper before bed or swallowing too much water from Okauchee Lake, but it all felt so real. My rocket gently landed back in Wisconsin on home base at Am Fam Field. Clear as day, Willy Adames was running towards me asking for a ride to the nearest home cooking breakfast for scrambled eggs. I hugged him tight and counted to 100 while the rocket flew around the world. We waved down at France and said bonjour to a friendly man named Jack staring up at us. Wow! What a fun ride! Suddenly, we landed at my house to the pouring rain and raging humidity. I waved goodbye to Willy and started on my way to find a quiet place to sit and read some Colleen Hoover while I wrangled on my cowboy boots.
