Desperate Times MAG
This piece was made as an embodiment of the word "frantic." With abnormal pulsating colors and long fangs, this skull is meant to represent the physical and emotional alterations of us as humans when we find ourselves in a desperate, frenzied state. Though we often become unrecognizable in out actions and words, our true selves are still present, hidden away inside our twisted, confused, and fearful visage- as represented by the human eye darting about in the socket. I created this to evoke the emotions associated with a frantic state, but perhaps viewers may glean their own insights as to what this monstrous head means to them. I used color pencils and acrylic paint.
